"A man must know the truth at his core and be willing to give his gifts fully. No holding back."- David Deida
I’ve been blessed. I have really good men in my life, and I deeply respect and cherish them. Men are faced with unique challenges and pressures in our culture, and many mixed messages about how a man “should” be. Generations of patriarchy, I believe, have harmed men just as much as women. I counsel men in dismantling many of the cultural “should’s” regarding how men are supposed to be. What I’m more interested in is what springs out of him naturally—what he desires, what he really wants for his life and his relationships, what kind of meaning he finds in his work in the world, and also who he would be if all aspects of him were welcomed.
I have experience counseling men through:
- Relationship issues
- Trauma recovery
- Grief
- Lack of meaning and connection
- Shame
- Self-esteem and personal power issues
- Sexuality Issues
- Social anxiety
- Addiction
- Career challenges
- Failure-to-launch issues
I encourage you to reach out to me so I that I can coach you in creating the life you really want for yourself. Let's connect.
